A team is a single VEX team number (e.g. 1234A). Each team has its own inventory namespace, members, and settings. Organizations bundle multiple teams under one owner.
Tally works for any VEX program — V5, IQ, U. The parts catalog is primarily VEX V5 right now, but you can add any custom part manually.
No discount needed — everything is already free for everyone during the beta. Schools, clubs, and nonprofits included.
